Minutes recorded by Barry.

1. Call to Order - The meeting was called to order by Barry at 7:01 
PM Ontario Time.

2. Agenda - The Agenda was approved, pending changes as we get 
inspired. 

3. Financial Statements: The financial statement is: "Wow! I'm not 
sure where I got this number...." Moneywise we have $29,626.56.  

4. Membership stats.  56 paid.  3 pending.

5. Newsletter - due out soon. Suggestions: software; internet; 
recent policy; CBC cutbacks,  

6. Current Projects 

a)   Full Moon Over Killaloe - $18,000 from Canada Council, with 
other applications pending.  Planning proceeds apace.  Looking for 
documentary based artist to offer a balance to the hard core artist, 
Michael waterman of Peterborough.  

b)   Radiant Dissonance - goes to the duplicator in two weeks.  We 
are looking for suggestions of places that should receive it.  

c)   Trillium Grant - for training in Ontario.  Five workshops in 
Ontario at various locations.  

d)   Website - Hal will talk to John and see what can be done.  

7. Future Projects

a)   National Conference - still planned but much depends on 
upcoming development.  

b)   Meeting with Heritage Canada - essentially to let us get 
access to existing funding, plus the establishment of a Production 
Fund.  

c)   Heritage Canada - Dave and Victoria have funding to do a 
package involve kids new to Canada.  


Adjourned 7:39 PM Ontario Time.  Next meeting will happen 
telephonically on Thursday April 13, 2000.  Chair and Social 
Secretary will be Dave.
