Thanks to the contributions of our funders, donors and members, the Canadian Society for Independent Radio Production continues to grow.
The Ontario Trillium Foundationwww.trilliumfoundation.org CSIRP gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, an agency of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Recreation. With $100 million in annual funding from the province's charitable gaming initiative, the Foundation provides grants to eligible charitable and not-for-profit organizations in the arts, culture, sports, recreation, environment and social service sectors. The Trillium Foundation is providing funding for CSIRP's Creative Radio Initiative, a three year series of workshops and training materials for Ontario community radio stations focussing on radio arts programming on radio. See our events schedule for upcoming workshops, and our training resources site for material which can be used for self-directed learning or in-station training programs. www.canadacouncil.ca We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts which last year invested $9.9 million in media arts throughout Canada. Nous remercions de son soutien le Conseil des Arts du Canada, qui a investi 9,9 millions de dollars l'an dernier dans les arts médiatiques à travers le Canada. The Canada Council has supported several of CSIRP's projects in recent years, including Radiant Dissonance, a radio series featuring the works of Canadian audio artists. It continues to support our annual Full Moon Audio Art Camp. We thank them for their support of creative radio. In Kind Contributions CSIRP's work is possible because our members and supporters give generously of their time and resources. All board members generously contribute use of their office spaces, long distance charges for monthly board calls, office supplies, and costs associated with building the organization. Individual members and supporters also contribute by writing for Wavelength, by contributing to the website and by participating on committees.
